Erik ten Hag stormed out of his post-match press conference following Manchester United's draw with Bournemouth.

The Red Devils' winless streak in the Premier League extended to four league matches after being held 2-2 by Andoni Iraola's side.

The result ensured United remained seventh in the table having dropped down a position following Newcastle's 4-0 win over Tottenham earlier in the day.

A finish below seventh spot would see the club endure their worst campaign in the Premier League era and Ten Hag was questioned on the possibility.

He said: 'I don't take comment, take that question. That is not important for this moment,' before walking off abruptly.

United's worst finish came in the 2013-14 season, the first season after Sir Alex Ferguson's departure when they finished seventh.

They had the chance to move back to sixth and maintain their slim hopes of securing Champions League football next season but struggled to take control against a vibrant Bournemouth side.

The Cherries had raced into the lead through Dominic Solanke's 17th goal of the season after 16 minutes.

Bruno Fernandes then got Ten Hag's men level just after the half-hour mark but the hosts responded by regaining the lead through Justin Kluivert five minutes later.

Fernandes got his second of the match from the penalty spot to rescue United a point in another evening to forget for Theanex Bewertung his side.

United are now without a win in four league matches, having drawn with Liverpool and Brentford and lost to Chelsea prior to Saturday's result.

They will seek to get back on track when they face Championship side Coventry at Wembley in the semi-final of the FA Cup next weekend.
